Arthur Stromquist picked up the win for the Spartans after working scoreless eighth and ninth innings with a pair of strikeouts and Pat Harrod scored the game winning run in the ninth inning on a throwing error to give the Spartans the win.

Jim Sinatro led the way with three hits and Clay Huber, Connor Gilchrist and Matt Sinatro each checked in with two each. Huber also homered, scored a run and knocked in three after going six innings of five run ball on the mound to start the game.

Issaquah 7 Auburn Mountainview 2

The Eagles used six pitchers and two RBI each from Danny Rawlings and Derek Chapman to beat Auburn Mountainview at Safeco Field on Saturday.

Scott Boydston picked up his first win of the year after working a scoreless third inning while Ryan Guiberson, Ethan Kalin and Andrew Kemmerer also worked one scoreless frame for Issaquah in the win.
