Eastlake competes at the Class 4A state softball tournament

Wolves defeat Eastmont, lose to Auburn-Riverside and Puyallup.

The Eastlake Wolves girls softball team finished with a 1-2 overall record at the Class 4A state tournament in Spokane on May 25.

Auburn-Riverside defeated Eastlake 8-6 in the first round of the tourney. Eastlake rebounded with a 16-0 win against Eastmont in a loser-out game. In their third game of the day, the Puyallup Vikings registered a 10-4 win to eliminate Eastlake from the tourney. The Wolves finished the 2018 season with a 20-5 overall record.
