The Eastlake girls cross country team powered its way to a dominating KingCo 4A championship Thursday afternoon at Lake Sammamish State Park.

The Eastlake girls cross country team powered its way to a dominating KingCo 4A championship Thursday afternoon at Lake Sammamish State Park.

The Wolves earned 35 points, finishing ahead of Redmond (69) and Roosevelt (130).

The Wolves earned three top 10 finishes, and all six racers placed in the top 20. Katelyn Steen placed a team best third at 18 minutes, 58 seconds. Garfield’s Anna Dailey won the race in 18:06.

Eastlake’s Morgan O’Connor (19:09) and Erin Blodnick (19:21) finished fifth and sixth, respectively. Chelsea Orr (19:42) was in ninth, Megan Batty (19:52) finished in 12th, Alie Dorsey (19:55) was in 14th and Emily Dwyer (20:04) was in 18th.

Skyline finished seventh as a team with 184 points. Elise Pletcher finished with a team best 20:16 in 23rd place.

Issaquah finished 10th as a team. Nicole Migotsky recorded a team best 20:10, finishing in 21st place.
