Eastlake stays alive with win over Issaquah, Eagles boys sent home | Prep basketball news

Issaquah dropped boys and girls basketball games on Tuesday at Juanita to end the season at the 4A KingCo tournament.

Girls basketball

Issaquah 46 Eastlake 54

The Lady Wolves kept their season alive with an eight point win over Issaquah and will face Newport in the third-place game on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

The winner of that game will face the third-place team from Wesco for the district’s final regional berth.

Boys basketball

Issaquah 60 Inglemoor 75

The Vikes sent Issaquah home for the year with the 75-60 win, moving into the third place game against Newport.

Eastside Catholic 43 Rainier Beach 62

The Crusaders fell to the top-ranked team in Class 3A to fall to a loser-out game against Bellevue on Friday at Bellevue College in a 6:30 p.m. tip.

The winner of that game will have to go through either Seattle Prep or O’Dea for the district’s final regional berth.
