Gref sets meet diving record at league championships

Issaquah swim and dive team finished third amongst 4A KingCo schools.

Issaquah sophomore diver Robert Gref set a new meet record with a score of 549.65 at the KingCo championships on Feb. 8. As a team, the Eagles finished third amongst 4A KingCo teams and sixth overall with a score of 291.

Gref also received first-team all-league honors. Issaquah swimmers Weston Crewe, Christopher Harig, Karl Yount and Owen Zablocki were all named to the second team. Christopher Leu also received an honorable mention.
