The Spartans erased a late deficit with a four-run sixth inning to take care of the visiting Saints.

Charlotte Zhao got the win in the circle and Winter Ridgeway picked up the save. Zhao was also 3-4 at the plate while Natalie de la Garrigue finished 3-3 with a pair of RBI.

Ridgeway and Hedmen also knocked in two runs each.

Carew Giberson-Chen had two base hits including a triple in the loss for Interlake.

Jim Sinatro had three base hits, scored a run and knocked in one while Clay Huber homered and knocked in three as Skyline scored a run in the seventh to walk-off against Woodinville.

Arthur Stromquist went two scoreless innings and struck out two in the win after taking over for Nick Kassuba. Huber started the game and went six innings, allowing eight hits and five runs, all earned.

The Spartans put the mercy rule in effect on Wednesday, beating Roosevelt 10-0 in a six inning game.

Issaquah grad Powers Player of the Week for Dominican

Kevin Powers, the fourth leading scorer in men’s Division II lacrosse, was named Western Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association offensive player of the week for games played between March 26 and April 1.

He scored nine goals and had 12 points in two wins for Dominican.
