The Eagles struck first when defensive back Jake Bakamus returned an interception 65 yards for a score. Kamiak kept things close early, bringing the score to 7-6 in the second quarter on a 1-yard touchdown run from Anthony Berg.

Wyman connected on a 21-yard field goal before the half to give Issaquah a 10-6 lead.

Wyman then punched in scores from 4, 8 and 10 yards in the third quarter. The Eagles capped the night off with an 85-yard TD pass from Braden Bouwman to Evan Peterson.

Issaquah was without starting quarterback Ethan Kalin, who suffered a concussion the previous week against Skyline. The Eagles, who return to league play this Friday with a home game against Redmond, moved to 4-1 overall.

Eastside Catholic rolls over Chief Sealth

Eastside Catholic made quick work of Chief Sealth Friday, hammering the Seahawks 56-6 in Sammamish.

Sophomore quarterback Trey Reynolds threw for a touchdown and ran for two more in the first half, helping the Crusaders to a 28-0 halftime lead. Reynolds hit Alex Smith for a 5-yard TD pass to get things started, then ran in scores from 1 yard and 65 yards.

Junior Chevy Walker put the game away for good, returning the second-half kickoff 75 yards for a touchdown. He also added a 1-yard run for a TD later in the game.

Eastside Catholic improved to 4-1 overall with the victory. The Crusaders return to league play Friday with a game against rival O’Dea (1-0, 4-1) at West Seattle Stadium.

Browne’s 4 TD passes leads Skyline to big win over Redmond

Sophomore quarterback Max Browne threw four touchdown passes Friday as Skyline rolled 45-0 over Redmond.

Browne hit Jordan Simone for TD passes of 1 and 25 yards, and Kasen Williams for scores of 11 and 26 yards.

Back-up quarterback Nate Gibson found Williams for another long first-half TD, on a 68-yard score.

Running back Kai Jandoc added a 13-yard TD, and kicker Eric Thies contributed a 23-yard field goal to round out the scoring.

Skyline moved to 2-0 in league and 4-1 overall with the victory. The Spartans face Newport (0-1, 3-2) this Friday.
