Issaquah and Eastside Catholic picked up huge conference wins in boys basketball.

Garfield 63 Issaquah 65

The Eagles took care of top-ranked Garfield on the road, 65-63 behind 27 points from junior guard Ty Gibson.

Gibson’s three-pointer from the top of the key with less than five seconds left put his team in front 65-62 and provided the final margin. A video of the shot was posted on Instagram.

Making the win even more impressive was the fact it came on the heels of a 67-49 win over Skyline the previous night.

Eastlake 72 Woodinville 51

Mick Vorhof scored 20 points to lead three Wolves in double figures as Eastlake got the double digit win.

Davis Woerner scored 15 and Jordan Lester added 13.

Eastside Catholic 71 O’Dea 66

The Crusaders beat O’Dea by five behind 21 points from Mandrell Worthy and 19 more from Nathan Christie.

Jonah Eastern scored 13 points as the Spartans fell to Roosevelt.

Shelby Kassuba scored 14 points as the Spartans lost.

Skyline 51 Issaquah 57

Mandie Hill scored 26 and Mackenzie Wieburg added 20 more for Issaquah in the win over Skyline.

Kassuba scored 19 in the loss.

Woodinville 81 Eastlake 69

Marijke Vanderschaaf scored a game high 23 in the loss for the Lady Wolves.
