Sophomore pole vaulter Eva Perry broke the school record she set a week ago, clearing 11 feet, 6 inches. Perry is now ranked third in the state in the event. She cleared 11-4 last week, breaking a nine-year-old record.

Haley Jacobson won the 100 and 200 meters in times of 12.6 and 26.1 seconds, respectively. Other first-place finishers for the Eagles included Nicole Migotsky (800), Jocelyn Eng (3,200), Lauren Bruner (300 hurdles) and Kelley Chen (javelin).

The Issaquah boys defeated Newport 88-57, behind eight individual and two relay victories.

Kyle Farmer earned wins in the 100 and 200 in times of 11.4 and 23.8 seconds, respectively.

Other individual winners included Chris Brasino (800), Isaac Robinson (1,600), Turner Wiley (3,200), Alexander Farmer (110 hurdles), Josh Martyn (300 hurdles) and Jeremiah Odom (pole vault).

Skyline athletes bowl over Sammamish

The Skyline boys and girls track and field teams earned big victories over non-league Sammamish High School Thursday afternoon.

The boys won 12 events for a 110-25 victory.

Kasen Williams won two events for the Spartans, taking the 200 in 23.73 seconds, and the long jump in 23 feet, 11 3/4 inches.

Other individual winners included Mitch O’Connell (400), Alan Yu (1,600), Keegan Symmes (3,200), Riley Herrera (110 hurdles), Jake Monroe (shot put), Robert Stoddard (discus), Devyn Heimbeck (javelin), Jordan Coutts (high jump) and Blake Digiovanni (triple jump). Skyline’s 1,600 relay team also finished first in 3:51.5.

The Skyline girls also earned a big win 128-18, taking all but two events.

Haley Ziegler was the only multiple-event winner for the Spartans, taking the shot put in 30-11 and discus in 97-3.

Other individual winners included Shealee O’Donnell (100), Madeleine Hutson (400), Kathryn Steele (800), Erin Murphy (1,600), Elise Pletcher (3,200), Amber Dodd (100 hurdles), Kelsey Kosenkranius (300 hurdles), Elena Frerker (javelin), Katherine Hill (high jump). Lindsay Coutts (long jump) and Marissa Fortier (triple jump). All three Spartan relays also took first.

Eastlake topped by Liberty

The Eastlake boys and girls suffered a double-defeat to Liberty Thursday afternoon in Renton.

The boys fell 92-52 to the Patriots despite double victories from Daniel Jackstadt in the 100 (11.5) and 200 (23.2). The Wolves also received wins from Sean Ross (pole vault), Brandon Cole (400) and Paul Kupcis (1,600). The 400 relay of Robert Moore, Ian Gelfer, Sam Gilles and Jackstadt also placed first in 44.3 seconds.

The Eastlake girls lost 49-29 to Liberty.

Carlye Skinner won the triple jump (30-7 3/4), Lauren Files won the 100 (12.9) and Morgan O’Connor won the 800 (2:23.9). The 400 relay of Taylor Boyd, Julia Seiler, Avalon Dunbar and Files won in 52.9 seconds.

EC boys win four-team Metro meet

The Eastside Catholic boys won a four-team Metro League meet Thursday afternoon with 42 team points. The Crusaders finished ahead of Franklin (33.5), Chief Sealth (32) and Lakeside 28.5.

Eastside won four events, with Chevy Walker taking first in the 200 (23.5) and 300 hurdles (44.1). Brian Comer won the 3,200 (11:01.5) and Matt Freeman won the 110 hurdles (17.2).

The Eastside Catholic girls finished fourth in the meet with nine points. Cassie Harvey and Madi Hurley first and second place finishes in the 1,600 helped the Crusaders earn their points.

Lakeside won the meet with 47 points.
