Garfield was second with 37 points and Inglemoor was third with 77.

The Issaquah boys placed third on Thursday with 71 team points. Garfield won with 29 and Inglemoor was third with 33.

Tom Howe was the lone point scorer for the Eagles, finishing sixth in 17:17.

Issaquah nets big win over Woodinville

Issaquah scored two second-half goals Thursday, edging Woodinville 2-1 to stay undefeated in KingCo 4A play.

Jocelyn Eng knotted the game up in the 47th minute, scoring on an assist from Audrey Thomas. Delaney Foreman put Issaquah up for good in the 56th minute, scoring on an assist from Alissa Evans.

The Eagles improved to 5-0-1 and 7-3-1 overall. They are one game ahead of Skyline for first place in the KingCo 4A standings.

Skyline ties Bothell

Despite outshooting Bothell 28-3, Skyline wasn’t able to walk away with a victory Thursday night at Pop Keeney Stadium.

The Spartans tied the Cougars 1-1, moving to 4-0-1 in league and 8-0-2 overall.

Jackie Wilson provided the lone goal in the 47th, heading in a corner kick from Maddie Christ.

Bothell (2-2-1, 4-4-1) struck first, when Allie Cundiff knocked in an unassisted score in the 17th minute.

Eastlake downs Garfield

Eastlake broke its streak of four consecutive ties Thursday, downing Garfield 1-0.

Marisa Katagirl broke a scoreless tie in the 76th minute, netting an unassisted goal.

Goalkeeper Bryce Kennedy recorded the shutout for the Wolves, who moved to 2-0-3 in league and 4-1-6 overall.

Eastside Catholic earns stalemate with Holy Names

Eastside Catholic battled to a 1-1 tie with Holy Names Thursday night.

Morgan McKenzie put the Crusaders on the board first in the 41st minute, knocking in a score off an assist from Malia Bachesta.

Holy Names countered in the 52nd minute on a goal from Emily Suhadolnik.

Eastside is now 2-2-2 in league and 2-3-3 overall.

VOLLEYBALL

Skyline sweeps Issaquah

Skyline beat Issaquah in three games Thursday night: 25-17, 25-13, 25-20.

Maddie Magee led the way for the Spartans with 16 kills and 12 digs. Madison Stoa had eight kills and 27 assists and Molly Mounsey had six kills and six blocks.

Issaquah was led by Sam Rogers’ 10 kills and three aces.

Skyline moved to 3-2 in league and 7-2 overall. Issaquah is still in search of victory, dropping to 0-5 in league and 0-7 overall.

Eastlake falls to Seattle Prep

Eastlake dropped a non-league match Thursday night, falling in four games to Seattle Prep: 25-10, 19-25, 25-23, 25-20.

Anna Gorman led the Wolves with 17 kills and three aces. Taylor Finlon had 22 assists and three aces while Jen Bresley had six kills and three blocks.

Eastlake fell to 3-5 overall.

TENNIS

Skyline sweeps doubles, beats Woodinville

Skyline used three doubles victories and a win at the top singles spot Thursday afternoon to defeat Woodinville 4-3.

Brayden Hansen and Alex Wu earned a 6-1, 6-1 victory at the top spot, while Inchul You and Nick Ziats, and Manuel Larain and Griffin Johnson also picked up big wins.

No. 1 singles player Aman Manji defeated Nate Billett, 6-4, 6-2 to seal the victory.

GOLF

Spartans win with ease

The Skyline golf team earned its sixth team victory of the season with ease Thursday afternoon, beating Ballard by 42 strokes, 198-240.

Brian Mogg led the Spartans on their home course, shooting a 1-under par, 35 at Plateau Country Club. Alex Yi (38), Kelley Sullivan (41), Michael Butler (42) and Erik Cho (43) rounded out the top five.

Skyline, now 6-3, closes out the regular season today against Garfield at Jefferson Park in Seattle.

Issaquah wraps up regular season with win

Issaquah concluded its regular season Thursday, beating Roosevelt by 12 strokes at Jackson Golf Course, 191-203.

The Eagles, who finished 7-3 in league meets, were led by Alex Ciszewski’s second-place finish at 1-over par, 37. Sid Raman and Bryan Jung tied for third with 38s and Austin Kinzer and Danny Baumer tied the Roughriders’ Graylin Dereke for fifth with 39s.
