Gabrielle Gevers ran fifth in the 100 and 200 meter dashes for Issaquah and also anchored a pair of relay teams to help the Eagles to a fifth place team finish, only four points behind Gig Harbor.
Madison Callan, Juliana da Cruz, Mack Wieburg and Gevers missed a title by only fractions of a second in the 800 meter relay and Chalfant replaced Cruz in the 1,600 meter relay, where the Eagles were behind only Bellarmine Prep. Wieburg also competed in the high jump.
Eva Perry earned eight points for the Eagles in the pole vault competition to round out the field events.
Alexis Daugherty took home eight points for Skyline with a third place finish in the 400 meter dash. She teamed with Mckenzie Deutsch, Dorie Dalzell and Maria Volodkevich to earn a third place finish in the 1,600 meter relay.
Curtis won the team scoring on the girls side in the 4A meet. Skyline ended the day in a tie for 17th with Moses Lake while Eastlake earned a total of four team points.
Skyline ended the boys meet in a four-way tie for 12th place with Skyview, Garfield and Gonzaga Prep.
Drew Matthews ended the 400 meter dash in third place for the Spartans in a time of 48.40 seconds. He teamed with Jamon Rogers, Trevon Clark and Andrew Millett to finish in second place in the 1,600 meter relay. Keegan Symmes ran the 3,200.
Ryan Lewis finished fifth in the 100 meters for Eastlake in 11.14 seconds, while Issaquah’s Kyle Farmer was eighth.
Jorrell Dorsey was second in the long jump and fourth in the long jump for Issaquah. Daniel Brady also competed in the long jump for Eastlake.
Gino Bresolin earned points for the Wolves in the shot put and discus competitions as well. Issaquah was only a point out of 12th and was one of four teams with 13 points. Eastlake finished in 22nd with 11.
