Issaquah girls move step closer to Crest title with win over Skyline

The Eagles took a 30-15 lead to the locker room at halftime, led by Mackenzie Schiltz’s game-high 16 points. Maddey Pflaumer scored 15 and Sabrina Norton added 10.

Skyline was led by Megan Wiedeman and Allie Wyszynski, who scored 10 apiece.

Issaquah moved to 12-1 in league and 14-5 overall. The Eagles have one more regular-season game at 6:30 p.m., Friday at last-place Redmond (2-11, 4-15). A win would secure a KingCo Crest championship and a No. 1 seed headed into next week’s KingCo 4A playoffs.

Skyline dropped to 8-5 in league and 14-6 overall. The Spartans close the regular season at 6:30 p.m., Friday at home against Eastlake. They have already locked up the No. 3 seed in the KingCo Crest and will face the No. 2 team from the KingCo Crown, Inglemoor, at 7:30 p.m., Feb. 9 on the road.
