Issaquah got on the board early scoring seven goals in the first and another seven in the second to take a 14–0 halftime lead.

The Eagles scored another five goals in the fourth before Brian Quick found the net for Eastlake.

Issaquah improved to 3-0 and Eastlake fell to 0-3.

Skyline remains undefeated

Four different players scored Monday night to lead Skyline to a 5-1 non-league victory over Auburn Mountainview.

Sophomore James Molyneux-Elliott had two goals for the Spartans. Travis Strawn, Kyle Olmstead and Pedro Miola added scores.

Skyline moved to 3-0-1 with the victory.

Issaquah ties with Highline

Issaquah’s Alex Shane saved the Eagles from the jaws of defeat Monday night, scoring a game-tying goal in the 68th minute off an assist from Drew Tacher.

The score tied the Eagles 1-1 with non-league Highline.

Highline took the initial lead in the 43rd minute on an unassisted goal from Axel Flaten.

Issaquah, which begins league play on Thursday against Woodinville, improved to 3-0-2.

BASEBALL

Eastside Catholic routs Ingraham

Eastside Catholic defeated Ingraham 17-1 in five innings Monday night in Seattle.

Austin Soukup earned the victory for Eastside. No other stats were reported.

The Crusaders improved to 4-1 overall with the victory.

GOLF

Eastlake cruises to victory over Bothell

The Eastlake girls golf team dominated Bothell on Monday, out-shooting the Cougars 268-331 at Sahalee Golf Club.

Megan Wotherspoon won medalist honors, shooting a 6-over par, 42. Jamie Midkiff (50), Taylor Finlon (54) Rebecca Priestley (60) and Amulya Cherala (61) rounded out the top five for the Wolves.

Issaquah rolls to win over Garfield

Issaquah cruised to a league victory over Garfield on Monday at Snoqualmie Falls Golf Course, outshooting the Bulldogs 249-331.

Lauren Merdinyan won medalist honors with a 6-over par, 42. Elin Skaardal was second, while Morgan Young (52) and Cassie Chan (54) finished fourth and fifth, respectively.
