The 2012 prep football season is underway and the Reporter has scores from all four local squads.

Skyline 33 Bothell 21

The Spartans trailed early but rebounded behind quarterback Max Browne and wide receiver Nic Sblendorio to get the win at Pop Keeney over 4A KingCo foe Bothell.

Coach Mat Taylor’s squad will travel to Murray, Utah next week for a 6:30 p.m. start against Cottonwood.

Eastside Catholic 41 Liberty 14

Senior signal-caller Trey Reynolds and the Crusaders got off to an emphatic start by blasting Liberty 41-14 at Charlie Acosta Field.

Interlake 13 Issaquah 24

The Eagles faced the first of two 3A KingCo opponents and got the win over the Saints to open 2012.

Eastlake 27 Lakeridge (Oregon) 42

The Wolves broke in an entirely new starting 11 on both offense and defense and fell 42-27 to Lakeridge from Lake Oswego, Ore. in the season opener.
