Skyline used three pins, three major decisions, three forfeits and a decision on Thursday to beat Redmond 52-21.

Tyler White (135 pounds) and Christian Caldwell (145) earned second-round pins, while Jordan McCaslin (152) pinned his opponent in 1 minute, 13 seconds.

Tristan Steciw (119) picked up a 9-0 major decision, Collin Ehret (130) earned a 13-2 major decision and Michael Mecham (160) gained a 9-1 major decision.

Jerred Kiss picked up a close 5-4 decision for the Spartans’ seventh win.

Eastside Catholic edged by West Seattle

Four forfeits proved costly for the Eastside Catholic wrestling team on Thursday as it fell 37-36 to West Seattle.

The Crusaders earned four pins and two victories via forfeit, but the Wildcats received three forfeit victories, pushing them over the top.

Eastside’s Matt Beggs (119 pounds), Drew Beggs (140), Jon Obernesser (145) and Anthony Roy (152) all recorded first-round pins.
