Jacob Wells worked four innings on the mound, and allowed only two earned runs, to get the win.

The Spartans started the KingCo slate with a shutout win over Garfield, behind six and two-thirds innings on the mound from pitcher Sam Lawerence.
Cole Blackburn and Jason Santiago each had a pair of base hits, and Santiago knocked in two runs in the win.

Mason Pierzchalski had two base hits and an RBI, but it wasn’t enough to get past 3A Interlake.
Henry Lin scored a run and knocked in two more for the Saints, while Christian McDonald had two more hits and scored two runs.

The Wolves were unable to gain any traction offensively in the 11-3 loss to Bellevue, as Chase Barlow and Cullen Payne scored goals.
Bainbridge 4 Eastside Catholic 17
Colin MacIlvennie put in four goals and Ross Komenda did the same to lead the Crusaders to the lopsided win over Bainbridge.
Girls golf
Jamie Midkiff shot a three-under par 34 to earn medalist honors for Eastlake in its win over Ballard at Jackson Golf Course.
Maddie Nelson also broke 40 with a 39, while Ashley Fitzgibbons shot 41 for the Wolves.
