The group of Skyline, Issaquah and Newport high school players defeated Garfield Legion 6-0 and 11-1 in a doubleheader at Bannerwood Park in Bellevue.

Lakeside, which has been without a large chunk of its roster over the first two weeks of the season for various reasons, dropped a doubleheader to Portland Baseball on Saturday, 7-4 and 8-2.

The team is scheduled to face Chaffey Baseball on Wednesday night. They then have doubleheaders Thursday, Friday and Saturday against Garfield Legion, Bellevue Honda and Bellevue Legion, respectively. They close a stretch of 12 games in eight days with a game Sunday morning against Enfuego Baseball at Husky Ballpark.
