Max Levy will be at the 4A state swim and dive meet and Skyline lost a basketball game to Ballard.

Skyline senior diver Max Levy is headed back to state after a first place finish at the district qualifier. Levy posted a 516.20 to take the top spot among 4A competitors.

The 4A boys state swim and dive meet will be held at King County Aquatic Center on February 15 and 16. Levy finished second at the state meet last year, less than three points behind the state champion.

The Beavers overcame a late deficit to escape with the one-point win over Skyline despite 15 points from Jonah Eastern and 12 more from Blake O’Brien.

Ballard’s John Verduin finished the night with a game-high 16 in the win.
