Local players honored on All-KingCo teams | Prep basketball news

The all-conference selections for the basketball season, including a Coach of the Year honoree.

The KingCo All-Conference honors have been awarded and a host of local preps earn distinction for the season, led by first team selections Ty Gibson of Issaquah, Marijke Vanderschaaf of Eastlake and Mandie Hill and Mackenzie Wieburg of Issaquah.

The Eagles’ boys continue their season Thursday against Jackson in the 4A state quarterfinals.
