Juanita rallied for three runs in the bottom of the fourth and one more in the bottom of the fifth to defeat Skyline 4-1 last Friday.

The Spartans received their only hit of the game, an RBI double, from Anya Kamber in the top of the sixth. The Spartans fell to 1-4 overall with the loss. Skyline has the week off for spring break. The Spartans are scheduled to return to action April 13 against Newport.

EC knocked off by West Seattle

West Seattle rallied from a 5-2 deficit to beat Eastside Catholic 7-5 on Monday. Ronnie Mae Ayers had an RBI triple for the Crusaders and also struck out seven in seven innings pitched. The Crusaders are now 2-4 overall.

Eastside ties Blanchet

Eastside Catholic avoided defeat April 2 via a goal from Miles Linde in the 78th minute. The boot, off an assist from Quinn Sinser, left the Crusaders in a 2-2 tie with Blanchet. The Braves struck first in the 32nd minute. Eastside knotted things up in the 72nd minute on a goal from Jordan Ranz. The assist came from Sinser. Blanchet took the lead back three minutes later, but couldn’t hang on. Eastside is now 1-2-1 overall.

Skyline offense erupts

Skyline finished one goal shy of matching its total goals for five games on April 1, knocking off Bellevue 6-2. The Spartans, who have now won three games in a row, received a hat trick from Josh Twaddle. The senior forward scored an early goal on a penalty kick and tacked on two more scores in the 51st and 58th minutes. Garrett Nordyke, Cole Clearman and Michael Stoddard all added goals. Skyline, which takes the week off for spring break, is now 3-3 overall.

Issaquah slams Chief Sealth

Issaquah defeated Chief Sealth 9-1 Tuesday night, with a large portion of the Eagles’ roster away on spring vacation. Issaquah received two goals apiece from Lucas Morias, Manuel Brugger, Andrew Schubert and Kelby Lemons. Michael Axelson added a goal for the Eagles. Issaquah improved to 7-1 overall with the victory.
