Skyline nets win over Inglemoor

Skyline defeated Inglemoor 6-1 on Thursday. The Spartans earned individual wins from Tyler VanGrunsven, Aman Manji, Nasi Teodosiadis and Jesse Park.

The doubles teams of Win Hubbard and Ben Huang, Max Kerwien and Zach Oseran also won.

Eastlake edges Issaquah

Eastlake edged Issaquah by four strokes Thursday afternoon at Sahalee Golf Club. Issaquah’s Kevin Moon took medalist honors, shooting a 2-over par 38. Eastlake was led by Li Wang’s 39.

Eastlake nabs first victory of the season

Eastlake had a quick response to Mount Si’s game-tying goal, striking one minute after the Wildcats’ Laura Barnes tied the game, 1-1. Kelly Morro scored an unassisted goal in the 58th minute to provide the Wolves (1-0-1) their first win of the season. Lindsay Elston had a goal in the 1st minute off an assist from Allie Beahan.

Skyline hangs on, improves to 2-0

Skyline improved to 2-0 on the young season, beating Bellevue 2-1 Thursday night.

Emily Anderson scored off an assist from Shea O’Donnell in the 2nd minute of the game, and Anna Morgan tacked on an unassisted goal in the 5th minute. Bellevue scored in the 78th minute, before running out of time.

Issaquah still in search of a win

Issaquah (0-2) dropped its second match of the season Thursday, falling in three games — 25-18, 25-17, 25-21 — to Curtis. Kelsey Mollick had 22 assists for the Eagles, while Stephanie Stoll led the team in kills with eight.

Curtis’ Emily Cotter had 16 kills.

Skyline downed by Olympia

Skyline (1-1) dropped its first match of the season Thursday night, falling in three games — 25-18, 25-18, 25-12 — to Olympia on the road.

Senior outside hitter Olivia Marquardt led the Spartans with 11 kills, while Megan Clark had 11 assists.
