The Skyline boys basketball team finished the Sam Barlow Christmas Tournament undefeated Wednesday night, crushing Benson Tech, 71-39.

The Spartans were led by Kasen Williams’ 15 points and Austin Weige’s 10.

Eight other players put points on the board for Skyline, which improved to 6-1 overall.

The Spartans next take the court at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 5 at home against Lake Washington.

Eastlake finishes fourth in Surf ‘N Slam

Eastlke concluded the Surf ‘N Slam tournament in San Diego in fourth place of their eight-team “Slam” division.

The Wolves defeated Burlinggame, Calif., 64-61 Wednesday morning. Michael Russo led a group of three double-figure scorers with 19 points. Dillon Pericin and Conner Iraola scored 15 and 12, respectively.

Eastlake finished the tournament with a 2-1 record, and improved to 5-3 overall. The Wolves face Bothell at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 5 at home.
