Skyline girls place second at KingCo 4A meet

The Spartans earned 101.5 team points, finishing behind Inglemoor’s 149.

Shea O’Donnell earned an individual title in the 100 meter dash in a time of 12.42 seconds, while Haley Ziegler brought home first in the javelin with a throw of 117 feet, 11 inches.

The Spartans added four second-place finishes, including in the 400 and 800 relays.

Issaquah finished fifth overall with 59 team points.

The Eagles had two league champions. Junior Haley Jacobson won the 200 in 25.45 seconds, while sophomore Eva Perry took the pole vault title by clearing 11 feet.

Eastlake finished 10th out of 12 teams with 24 points.

The Wolves received their highest finishes from seniors Chelsea Orr and Erin Blodnick. The pair earned fourth-place finishes in the 1,600 and 3,200, respectively.
