The Eagles got wins from Chance Gunter (182), Robert Steil (220), Torre Eaton (113), Louden Ivey (138) and Colby Starren (160), and also picked up two forfeits to win the dual meet between the district rivals.

Nathan Swanson (120), Nathan Jensen (126), Tristan Steciw (132), Joseph DeMatteo (145), Adrian Abraham (152) and Bo Longmore (170) won matches for the Spartans.

The Spartans rebounded from the loss to win another dual meet by a single point, 43-42 over Sammamish rival Eastlake.

Zach Foeber (106), Jensen, Steciw, DeMatteo and Longmore won matches for Skyline, while Rudy Ross (285), William Galarpe (138), James Jensen (152) and Miles Williams (160) were winners for the Wolves.

The Eagles dominated the meet with their 3A neighbors, taking nine first place finishes in the 12 events.

The 200 medley relay team of Jason Klein, Henry Pratt, Gabe Florsheim and Alex Sun swam an automatic state qualifying time of one minute, 43.19 seconds to run away with the victory.

Florsheim also swam a district time in the 200 free, while Jonathan Williams, Josh Bean and Oliver Cockerham swam KingCo qualifying times.

Keith Nussbaum and Ray Carter qualified for districts in the 200 IM, while Caleb Walin and Nick Garcia did likewise in the 50 free. Klein punched his state ticket in that event, swimming 22.66 to get the win, and also qualified for the 100 fly in a time of 55.61.

The Eagles followed their win over Liberty with another, 96-90 over Newport in a dual meet behind two individual wins from Klein, another from Pratt and a pair of relay victories.
