Pedro Miola broke the scoring on an assist from Kaleb Strawn to put the Spartans up early before Jason Twaddle added the deciding goal in the 79th minute from Sean McDonald to give Skyline the win.

The Eagles wasted little time against Northshore, building a 6-0 lead at the half and capping the win behind four goals from both Alex Cizsewski and Matt O’Neill.

The Crusaders took the trip south to Vancouver to open the season but were handed an eight goal loss by King’s Way.

Eastlake 8 Skyline 7

Austin Caldwell put in a game high three goals for the Wolves and Avery Harkins finished with nine saves to give Eastlake the win over Skyline. Cameron Saffle, Tristan Miller and Ryan Benz all scored a pair of goals for the Spartans.
