Skyview defeats Skyline in overtime

The Skyview Storm overcame a 21-point deficit, earning a come-from-behind 34-31 overtime victory against the Skyline Spartans a winner-to-state, loser-out game on Nov. 7 in Sammamish. Skyline finished the 2014 season with an overall record of 6-4.

Crusaders win ninth straight contest

For the ninth week in a row, the Eastside Catholic Crusaders football team was victorious. The Crusaders crushed the Arlington Eagles 42-14 in a winner-to-state, loser-out playoff game on Nov. 7 in Sammamish. Eastside Catholic (9-1) will face the Meadowdale Mavericks at 7 p.m. on Nov. 14 at Seattle Memorial Stadium in Seattle in the first round of the Class 3A state playoffs.

Wolves conquer Jaguars

The Eastlake Wolves defeated the South Puget Sound South champs Emerald Ridge Jaguars 37-17 on Nov. 7 at Sparks Stadium in Puyallup. The Wolves (7-3) will face the Bothell Cougars at 7 p.m. on Nov. 14 at Pop Keeney Stadium in Bothell in the first round of the Class 4A state playoffs. Bothell (10-0) defeated Eastlake 41-19 in the season opener for both teams in Sammamish on Sept. 5.
