Eastlake earned the highest finish on the boys side behind a second place from Li Wang.

Eastlake finished the 4A state boys golf meet in third place behind a second place individual finish from Li Wang, who shot a 76-71-147. The second day round was tied with champion Kyle Cornett of Jackson for the lowest carded by a player all tournament and kept Cornett’s final margin at two strokes.

Brian Mogg of Skyline finished in a tie for third with a 76-75-151 while Wang’s teammate Spencer Weiss shot a 75-78-153 to end the meet in a tie for sixth.

Taylor Swingle finished in 42nd place with a 82-90-172 for Issaquah.

Skyline’s Kelly Sullivan, Eastlake’s Jack Fisher and Bryan Jung of Issaquah all competed on day one but did not make the cut.

Eastside Catholic’s Andy Ehrig and John Holt were in the field but did not make the cut.

Mersadie Tallman was the highest finisher for Issaquah on the girls side, shooting a 79-81-160, good for a tie for 14th. Eastlake’s Megan Wortherspoon was the only Eagle to make the cut, shooting an 84-85-169 to finish in 31st.

Jamie Midkiff of Eastlake was in the field but did not make the cut to day two.

Eastside Catholic’s McKenna Boit was 36th at the 3A girls meet.
