Washington Wild girls hockey team wins coveted tournament

Youth hockey team turns in a dominating performance

The Washington Wild girls hockey team, which is a 14U squad that competes in the Western Washington Female Hockey Association, captured first place at the Surrey SuperHearts tournament on Feb. 7 in British Columbia.

The Wild defeated the Surrey Falcons 4-3 in an overtime shootout. The team is made up of players from Western Washington, including Issaquah resident Fiona Boskovic.
