Eastlake Wolves sophomore Ellie Talius captured first place in the pole vault event at the Class 4A state track meet with a vault of 12 feet, six inches on May 26 at Mount Tahoma High School in Tacoma. Woodinville’s Makenna Barton finished in second place with vault of 12 feet.
