Various groups from throughout Issaquah honored members of the community in the 32nd Annual Community Awards Banquet May 17. The Chamber of Commerce hosted the event.
Volunteer of the Year – Fred Butler
Environmental Excellence – Amy Spens
Human and Spiritual Values – Marilyn Taylor
Lifesaver award – Pamela Anderson and Michael Vickers
Golden Apple Award – Connie Fletcher
Business Person of the Year – Jose Enciso
Salmon Day’s Spawner Roll – JoAnn McHolland
Issaquah Education Association advocate of the year – Given in honor of all of the certificated teachers
Youth leadership award – Maria Dalzell
Volunteers of the Year – Julie Hjelm
Sportsperson of the year – Martin Hikida
Citizen of the Year – Tom Sessions
City of Issaquah Hall of Fame – Jose Enciso
Rotary youth of the year – Jay Chakravarty, Blaire Brady, and Lacee Crook
