August 28
THEFT: A pocketbook, cash and cellphone valued at $550 were reported stolen on the 1400 block of Highlands Drive Northeast.
HIT AND RUN: A hit and run was reported on the 700 block of Northwest Gilman Boulevard. The collision caused $400 damage to the rear bumper of a 2014 Honda CR-V.
August 29
HIGH-IMPACT WORKOUT: A patron of 24 Hour Fitness on the 5700 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast reported someone hit his car while he was working out. He told police a witness had written down the driver’s license plate number and given the information to gym management.
CASH: $500 cash was reported stolen from the 1700 block o Northwest Gilman Boulevard.
BRANCH: An officer helped firefighters block off a portion of roadway near the intersection of Northwest Oakcrest Drive and Newport Way Northwest where a large branch had fallen on power lines. Firefighters reported the branch had caught fire earlier, but had since extinguished itself.
August 30
AUTO THEFT: A 1995 Honda Accord valued at $1,000 was reported stolen from the 200 block of Wildwood Boulevard Southwest.
August 31
WELFARE CHECK: An officer contacted a man sleeping wrapped in a plastic tarp on the grass near the intersection of Front Street South and Sixth Avenue Southeast. The man said he was from California on his way to Maple Valley. He moved along.
BURGLARY: A business on the 6000 block of 221st Place Southeast reported a burglary that resulted in theft and damage to a fuel tank, at a total loss of $700.
WARRANT: While following up on the burglary on the 6000 block of 221st Place Southeast, an officer contacted and arrested a 37-year-old Issaquah man for an outstanding DUI warrant issued by the King County Sheriff’s Office.
September 1
DOMESTIC: A 36-year-old Issaquah man was arrested for domestic assault in the fourth degree after police responded to an argument on the 1100 block of Northeast Hickory Lane.
NO PANTS PARTY: An officer contacted a man who had been reported wearing nothing but a T-shirt and underwear at his apartment on the 200 block of Newport Way Southwest. The man said he didn’t have any pants at the moment but that he would remain inside until he obtained a pair.
September 2
FIVE-FIGURE THEFT: A ring, pocketbook and cellphone were reported stolen from the 1800 block of 12th Avenue Northwest at a loss of $28,245.
FOILED: A 25-year-old Kirkland man was arrested for the attempted theft of video games from a store on the 700 block of Northwest Gilman Boulevard. A 25-year-old Kirkland woman was also arrested for being found in possession of drug paraphernalia.
September 3
WHO STILL PLAYS RUNESCAPE?: An officer contacted a 191st Place Southeast resident whom reported that the owner of a private server for the game “RuneScape” had leaked his address following a disagreement. With no apparent threats, the officer advised the man to call 911 if he saw anything that caused concern for his well-being.
