June 17

VEHICLE PROWL: A camera lens worth $2,099 was reported stolen from a 2013 Subaru Impreza at 11:43 a.m. in the 100 block of Aires Place Northwest.

FRAGRANT THIEF: $55 worth of cologne and cash were stolen from a 2014 Kia Forte at 11:58 a.m. in the 900 block of Lake Drive.

BARFLY: At 10:30 p.m., the staff of a bar in the 100 block of Front Street North wanted a subject to leave the bar, but he refused. By the time police arrived, the subject was outside. Police waited until the man arranged for his parents to pick him up.

June 18

PARKING LOT HOTEL: At 5:55 a.m. in the 1400 block of Northwest Sammamish Road, police came upon a subject sleeping in his car in a parking lot. The subject said that he had a long drive home last night, so he parked and slept in the parking lot.

STOLEN CAR: At 9:08 a.m., a 2009 Honda Pilot worth $10,000 was reported stolen from the 500 block of Lingering Pine Drive Northwest.

June 19

HARASSMENT: At 5:14 p.m., a report was made that a petitioner was being loud and aggressive, and was stopping customers from entering and leaving the Game Stop in the 1800 block of 12th Ave. Northwest. Police arrived and observed the petitioner, but saw no evidence that the store was blocked.

SIDEWALK SNOOZE: Police found a male passed out on the sidewalk of the 100 block of Front St. South at 5:53 p.m. Police woke the subject, who was very upset at being awoken. Police explained to the man that he could not just sleep anywhere that he wanted.

FREEWAY BED: At 8:39 p.m., police found a ladder leading up to the underside of the Interstate 90 overpass at Front Street North. Upon climbing the ladder, police found a shelf with a man sleeping on it. Police got the man to leave the area.

TAJ MAHAL DISPATCH: At 9:01 p.m., a woman from the 23400 block of Southeast Black Nugget Road accidentally called 911. She said that she was trying to call India. This same error occurred last week as well from a different address. This may be due to the fact that India’s country code is +91.

June 20

CIGARETTE SEARCH: At 2:58 p.m., police made contact with a female outside of the Lover’s Store in the 5600 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast. The woman had left the Joker Pub when asked and was now asking for cigarettes. She said she was leaving to go home.

BIG BROTHER: At 11:16 p.m., a female in the 1500 block of 24th Avenue Northeast said that she felt someone was near her backyard taking photos into the back windows of her home. Police conducted an area check on foot and by car, but found nothing.

June 21

CAR CAT FIGHT: At 8:49 a.m. at a parking lot in the 6200 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast, a complainant reported that another person in the parking lot was being rude to her because she hit a parked vehicle. The complainant said that she had left her information on the car, but the witness “got all in her face.” When police arrived, the witness was gone. No crime occurred.

UPS IMPOSTER: At 4:44 p.m., a complainant from the 5200 block of 238th Lane Southeast said that he got a strange call about a package delivery from someone claiming to be UPS.

June 22

HOT DOG: At 11:13 a.m., a dog was reported to be in a vehicle in the 1500 block of Northwest Gilman Boulevard. Police arrived and found that the dog did not appear to be in distress. The temperature was 65 degrees and the sky was overcast.

BIZARRE: At 12:42 p.m. in the 1700 block of Avenue Northwest, police contacted a subject who was acting erratically. The subject asked to be transferred to the hospital.

WASTED WITH WATERMELONS: At 4:18 p.m., an intoxicated subject in the 100 block of East Sunset Way was disposing of watermelon on the sidewalk. Police contacted him and he began to pick up the pieces.

BAD LANDLORD: At 6:49 p.m., a complainant from the 700 block of Second Avenue Northwest called to report that her landlord was treating her badly for unknown reasons. The complainant was very emotional and upset. No threats were made, and the complainant said that she would call back with the landlord’s name and number.

June 23

STUMBLING DRUNK: At 2:13 a.m., police located a male sitting in the roadway on First Avenue Northwest and Northwest Alder Place. The subject said that he had been drinking and fell down. Police assisted the male in getting up, and he said that he could make it home on his own alright.

GET FIRED OR SET FIRE: At 2:50 p.m., a male from the 6200 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast reported that he has a job but occasionally does extra work doing day labor at the Home Depot parking lot. While he was waiting, two males from El Salvador who did not like him said that he should leave, or else they would set his car on fire.

June 24

PUKE PROBLEMS: At 1:54 a.m., police contacted a male and female in a Toyota Prius parked in the 1000 block of 10th Ave. NE. The female said that her friend vomited all over the Uber driver’s car and was arguing with him about being charged extra to clean it up.
