CaffeMail, an e-mail marketing service provider, is celebrating its grand opening by offering a free account for a year to one local non-profit organization.

E-mail marketing allows businesses to easily create and send html e-mails to customers, donors, or constituents who have requested to receive them. Through CaffeCares, their community relations program, CaffeMail will donate one free custom e-mail stationery design and up to 5000 e-mails per month for a full year. The value of this package is over $1,000.

Caffeinated Communications Studio, the parent company of CaffeMail, is owned by Sammamish residents Kristin Heffley and Susannah Pryal.

“Susannah and I both have deep roots in the local non-profit community,” says Heffley, a 2007 SAMMI award nominee. “We are thrilled to have an opportunity to support them in a significant way.”

E-mail marketing is a great way for charitable organizations to develop and maintain relationships with donors, patrons, alumni or members, Pryal suggests.

“They can use it for newsletters, fundraising campaigns, conducting surveys, even collecting event RSVPs.”

Interested organizations can apply by sending an e-mail to caffecares@caffemail.com no later than Dec. 1. The e-mail should include a description of their mission, an explanation of how they would use their free CaffeMail account, and documentation of their non-profit status. Free e-mail service will run from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2011.

Qualified applicants will be based in Sammamish, Issaquah or Redmond.

“We hope to expand the CaffeCares program in the future,” says Heffley, “but for this year we want to focus on the areas in which we live and do business.” CaffeMail also offers all non-profits a 20 percent discount on all services.
