5th District Democrats to elect delegates

Democrats in the 5th Legislative District will gather in Maple Valley on March 9 to elect delegates and alternates to the state Democratic convention this summer.

 

Democrats in the 5th Legislative District will gather in Maple Valley on March 9 to elect delegates and alternates to the state Democratic convention this summer. Those delegates and alternates will be able to help decide the Democratic platform in Washington state.

There are nine delegate and four alternate positions to fill. Any Democrat is eligible. Participation is free. Anyone who is a Democrat in the 5th district can vote.

The caucus will be from 1-3 p.m. at the Maple Valley Library, 21844 S.E. 248th St.

The district stretches from Issaquah and east Sammamish to Snoqualmie Pass.
