This Wednesday, Sept. 2, the Sammamish Farmers Market will host the first annual Sustainable September event.

Supported by the City of Sammamish and the Sammamish Chamber of Commerce, Sustainable September will give residents the opportunity to learn how to incorporate sustainability at home and in their everyday lives.

There will be businesses on hand sharing their expertise in home remodeling, the latest technology in energy and water savings, connecting with nature, and more.

The event will be held during the regularly scheduled market, from 4 – 7 p.m., giving patrons the opportunity to shop for healthy, locally grown food, and enjoy talking with experts in the field to learn about sustainability and living in the Sammamish community.
