City gives money for Down Home July 4th

The City of Issaquah approved $4,500 for the Down Home Fourth of July celebration this year. The money comes from a $130,000 set aside for arts grants.

The free community event Issaquah’s a parade down Front Street North, old fashioned games, and a performances stage at Veterans’ Memorial Park. About 3,500 are expected to attend.
