Costco Wholesale Corp., based in Issaquah and the country’s largest warehouse club, saw a decline in sales during the month of July.

In a press release from Aug. 6 the company announced a 7 percent sales decrease at stores which have been for at least a year for four weeks which ended Aug. 2. Year to date the company has seen a 4 percent decline in sales.

The company has 557 warehouses in the U.S. and in six other countries.
