Salmon Days opened Saturday to gray and cloudy skies, but apparently no one told the early birds who came out for the festival’s Grande Parade. Everyone was in high spirits as they watched floats from places as near as Issaquah High School and as far as Sequim.
Within half an hour of the parade’s end, the weather broke and clear skies held for the rest of the weekend.
