Oct. 22
SO MAD HE COULD SPIT: At 8:53 a.m. on Highlands Drive Northeast, an officer contacted a complainant who reported that the driver of a Scion xB had swerved into his lane and spit in his truck. The complainant turned to pursue the vehicle, but lost it.
SCHOOL PROBLEM: At 10:22 a.m. at Issaquah High School, a student threatened to punch a teacher. The school resource officer, security officer an administrator and uniformed officers responded.
BURGLARY: At 11 a.m. on the 100 block of Sixth Avenue Northeast, a burglary was reported. A window valued at $300 was damaged during the incident.
MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: At 5:02 p.m. on the 200 block of Northeast Dogwood Street, $800 of damage was reported to a car windshield.
GONE WITH THE WIND: At 5:30 p.m. on the 100 block of East Sunset Way, a $500 leaf blower was reported as stolen.
Oct. 23
BLOW AND GO: At 4:18 a.m. near Southeast Andrews Street, a 35-year-old Redmond man was arrested for driving without a required ignition interlock device.
PROWL: At 7:27 p.m. on the 100 block of East Sunset Way, $1,120 of personal effects were reported stolen from a vehicle. They included clothing, cash, a television, book and backpack.
VIOLATION: At 8:37 p.m. on the 300 block of Shangri-La Way Northwest, a 21-year-old Kent man was arrested for violating a court order.
Oct. 24
DOMESTIC: At 10:39 a.m. on the 900 block of Northeast Ingram Way, officers responded to a reported domestic violence incident. A 31-year-old Issaquah man was arrested for assault in the fourth degree and interfering with the reporting of a domestic violence incident.
THEFT: At 11:12 a.m. on the 5700 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast, $1,570.57 of items were reported stolen. They included jewelry, a wallet and cash.
MR. BUNNYKINS, NO!: At 11:29 a.m. on the 200 block of Southwest Clark Street, an officer responded to a citizen’s request for assistance in removing a dead rabbit stuck in the rim of her bike. The officer asked the caller how the rabbit became stuck and she said she didn’t know. The officer was able to remove the rabbit from the bicycle spokes with a stick.
PROWL: At 12:59 p.m. on the 300 block of Rainier Boulevard North, $1,075 of items were reported stolen from a vehicle. The items included cash, jewelry, a flashlight and bag.
GOOD EATIN’: At 7 p.m. on the 1400 block of Highlands Drive Northeast, the theft of $1,067.50 of groceries was reported in progress. The theft was thwarted and the items were recovered.
Oct. 25
STIFFED: At 4 a.m. on the 5100 block of Northwest Sammamish Road, a cab driver reported the nonpayment of a $59 fare.
HIT-AND-RUN: A hit-and-run was reported on the 300 block of Shangri-La Way Northwest at 7:29 p.m.
Oct. 26
THEFT: At 10:11 a.m. on the 200 block of Northeast Alder Street, $700 of jewelry was reported stolen.
GREASY GOODBYE: At 7:47 p.m. at the Issaquah Police Department, officers contacted a man who said he was upset about officers not taking reports. He said someone had written “Aloha” in grease on his window and he was annoyed he had to clean it.
ASSAULT: At 8:26 p.m. on the 100 block of Front Street North, an officer was dispatched to an assault in progress between two men at a bar. On arrival, the manager had intervened and was talking to the two men as they sat on bar stools. Neither man wished to pursue charges and they left the establishment.
Oct. 27
STRUCK: An officer contacted a woman who reported that, at 12:23 p.m. near the intersection of Newport Way Northwest and Northwest Maple Street, a car entered her lane, struck and damaged the left rear of her vehicle. She said the car did not stop after the collision.
HIP, HOP, YOU DON’T STOP: An officer contacted a man who reported that, at 3:59 p.m. on the 1000 block of Northwest Gilman Boulevard, an unknown person jumped up and down on his bumper, causing the vehicle to rock. The man said he thought the person was asked by his ex to harass him.
ASSAULT: At 6:26 p.m. on the 800 block of Front Street South, a 46-year-old Everett man was arrested for assault in the fourth degree.
NOT A VAULT, PEOPLE: At 7:17 p.m. on the 5700 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast, $1,746 of items were reported stolen from a Honda Civic. They included a computer, backpack and its contents.
Oct. 28
DOOR DAMAGE: At 12:53 p.m. on the 200 block of Northeast Alder Street, a door was reported damaged in an attempted burglary.
Oct. 29
GASSED: At 3:17 p.m. on the 400 block of Southeast Bush Street, officers were notified of the theft of an $84 fuel can and fuel.
PARANOID: An officer met with a woman who reported she was having some paranoia regarding someone bugged her phone and home computer at her First Place Northwest home. She said she felt like someone was trying to steal her identity.
REALLY GOING FOR IT: At 5:13 p.m. on the 6000 block of 221st Place Southeast, an officer found three vehicles parked illegally in front of no-parking signs. One of the vehicles was parked in front of a sign, by a fire hydrant and on the sidewalk. The officer issued infractions.
