Eastside Catholic celebrates 2012 graduation

Eastside Catholic commemorated its 30th graduating class Sunday afternoon, awarding 156 students diplomas in the school's athletic pavilion.

Eastside Catholic commemorated its 30th graduating class Sunday afternoon, awarding 156 students diplomas in the school’s athletic pavilion.

In all, 99 percent of the graduates will immediately enroll in four-year colleges or universities. The group collected a total of $10,562,910 worth of scholarships for 63 different colleges in 17 states.

The graduating class had 36 students from Sammamish and 21 from Issaquah.

Salutatorians Janet Ludeman and Tyler Eiguren are both from Sammamish and Jordyn Mosher, who sang a musical tribute “For Good” with Annie Mazure-Schmidt, is also from the Plateau.
