Eastside Catholic trio excel in history competition

Congratulations to Eastside Catholic students Alex Gallant, Clare Nuss and Brittany High, who excelled at the North Puget Sound Regional History Day contest at Shoreline Center on March 13.

Congratulations to Eastside Catholic students Alex Gallant, Clare Nuss and Brittany High, who excelled at the North Puget Sound Regional History Day contest at Shoreline Center on March 13.

The three all placed in the top three in their respective categories – Gallant built a history-themed Web site and Nuss and High created a museum exhibit – and will go on to state competition at Green River Community College on Saturday, April 25.

Gallant’s Web site project was titled “The Opening Housing Ordinance of 1968: Innovation in Seattle?” Nuss and High’s museum exhibit celebrated “Susan Elizabeth Bow: Changing the World One Kingergarten at a Time.”
