Foggy windshield causes woman to crash into median | The Issaquah Blotter

The following information was compiled from City of Issaquah police reports:

– A woman learned the hard way not to drive with poor visibility, after crashing into a center road median and a small mound of dirt near Lake Drive. She had turned her defrosters on, which instantly fogged up her windows, but decided to drive through the intersection without being able to see April 6.

– Someone called to complain about a neighbor stomping around the house until 1 a.m. in the morning April 6 on the 200 block of Southwest Clark Street.

– Police contacted a man who peed in some bushes near the creek on the 500 block of Gilman Boulevard. The man said he had a camp set up at High Point on April 8.

– A car prowler broke into a 2004 Ford Explorer, a total loss of $200, on the 100 block of Sky Ridge Road Northwest on April 7.

– A man called police after someone hit his car in the Front Street Market lot and didn’t leave a note April 7.

– A 31-foot tree was reportedly cut down on city property on the 3600 block of Southeast Evans St. on April 12.

– A mother approached police asking them to scare her physically aggressive son at the police station April 12. The officer kindly informed her of her parenting options and counseling services beyond what she was already using.

– There was a report of a hit an run car crash on the 1500 block of Northwest Gilman Boulevard on April 12.

– There was a report of a recklessly driving black Scion on Highlands Drive near the freeway April 12.

– Police helped a woman jump start her car battery on the 800 block of Summerhill Ridge Drive Northwest on April 12.

– There was a report of domestic dispute and malicious mischief on the 400 block of Mount Kenya Drive Southwest on April 12.

– A 55-year-old Renton man was cited and released for driving with a suspended license and without car insurance April 12 on the 6200 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast.

– A woman called police after waking up to what she thought sounded like a woman’s scream from a department store parking lot on Northwest Gilman Boulevard on April 13. Police checked the area, and didn’t find anything unusual.

– Police investigated some minor damage to the city trail house April 13 on Southeast Bush Street.

– Police responded to a hit and run incident, when the caller said she only wanted the officer to talk with the party that fled the scene on the 5700 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast on April 6.

– A 65-year-old Issaquah man was arrested for breaking a domestic violence no-contact order April 6.

– A 1985 Honda was reported stolen at the police station April 6.
