Hundreds without power during NWS wind advisory

More than 150 Issaquah properties were left without power Tuesday afternoon as strong winds knocked out power just north of Southeast Issaquah-Fall City Road.

More than 150 Issaquah properties were left without power Tuesday afternoon as strong winds knocked out power just north of Southeast Issaquah-Fall City Road.

Power was reported out at 2:35 p.m. and the situation wasn’t expected to be repaired until 5 p.m.

Fourteen power customers at the south end of Squak Mountain and 56 in Mirrormont also lost electricity, with similar repair outlooks.

The National Weather Service of Seattle placed the Puget Sound region on a wind advisory for Tuesday, as a result of a cold front.
