ISSAQUAH BLOTTER: Marijuana report turns out to be burning sage

The following information was compiled by city of Issaquah police reports:

Police responded after someone smelled burning marijuana at a business on Northwest Mall Street on Jan. 27. It turns out the business burns sage as a part of its message therapy treatments.

A youth’s leg was broken after he was hit by a car in the Front Street Market parking lot Jan. 25.

A man called police after his friend overdosed on heroine on the 800 block of Sunrise Place Southwest. Eastside Fire and Rescue took the friend to Overlake on Jan. 30.

A woman went to the police department after her neighbor kids threw bamboo spears into her lawn and on top of her roof on the 400 block of Wildwood Boulevard Southwest on Jan. 25. She had worked out an agreement with the children’s mother to pay for damages, but she still wanted to document the incident.

Someone reported a lightbulb being painted on the 300 block of Rainier Boulevard South, total loss was $3 on Jan. 31.

A woman called police after finding beer bottles dumped in her yard on the 500 block of Southeast Bush Street on Jan. 31.

The King County Sheriff’s Office recovered a Toyota stolen from Issaquah on Jan. 31.

While a driver was getting out of his car on the 600 block of Front Street South, a man standing in the bushes came out and said that he had a nice car stereo and that he planned to steal it. He then walked away, Jan. 31.

The manager of the Front Street Market reported a suspicious incident that looked like an adult was buying a large quantity of alcohol for some juveniles Jan. 28.
