National Weather Service forecasts predict a 100 percent chance of rain Monday night, reduced to 90 percent all of Tuesday and a 50-70 percent chance Wednesday.

Forecasts have also established a high wind watch Tuesday, lasting through Tuesday night. A south southwest wind is expected to blow 29-32 mph during the day with gusts up to 48 mph; the windspeed is expected to reduce to 11-16 mph in the evening.

On Saturday, the Issaquah Creek rain gauge near Hobart measured water levels at nearly 7 feet, placing lowlands in Phase 1 flood watch. The city offered free sand and bags to citizens who called 425-837-3470.
