A 50-year-old paraglider is expected to recover from his injuries after reportedly crashing into some trees on Tiger Mountain June 12.

A 50-year-old paraglider is expected to recover from his injuries after reportedly crashing into some trees on Tiger Mountain June 12.

Rescue crews found the man about a quarter of a mile down Poo Poo Point Trail, and helped carry him off the trail, according to a King County Sheriff’s office press release.

The man was conscious during the rescue, and is expected to recover from his injuries.

Paragliding is a popular sport along Lake Sammamish, and groups can be regularly found practicing at Lake Sammamish State Park.
