Two teen suspects were arrested and charged Thursday in last week’s burglary of a Sixth Avenue Southeast home, according to Issaquah police.
The 17-year-old boys are alleged to have entered the home, located on the 100 block of the street, through an open door around 4:30 a.m. June 10. The homeowner confronted the suspects immediately before they fled the area.
Police say they found the suspects based on a description of one of the teens given by the homeowner.
In the aftermath of the incident, the city is advising residents to lock windows and doors despite rising temperatures.
