Oct. 30

WRONG WAY: At 10:37 a.m. on the corner of Northeast Park Drive and Ninth Avenue Northeast, an officer stopped a vehicle that had turned left in a prohibited area. The stop was part of a traffic emphasis.

NEEDLE ANXIETY: At 1:04 p.m. on the corner of Northwest Sammamish Road and 17th Avenue Northwest, an officer stopped a vehicle in regards to a suspicious circumstances call in which a female was reported yelling out of the car. The driver and passenger said they were on their way to a doctor’s appointment in which the female in question would be receiving a shot in her neck. She said she had major anxiety about the procedure.

FOOD THEFT: At 2:06 p.m. on the 1400 block of Highlands Drive Northeast, a 35-year-old Issaquah woman and 25-year-old Issaquah man were arrested for the theft of $113.21 of groceries.

ASSAULT: At 5:16 p.m. on the 800 block of Fourth Avenue Northwest, two 22-year-old Issaquah men and one 23-year-old Sammamish man were arrested for assault in the fourth degree and harassment.

Oct. 31

UNSAFE ARBOR: At 10:01 a.m., an officer took a property damage report at an address on the 300 block of Northwest Gilman Boulevard, where part of a tree had broken off and damaged a window.

COURTESY RIDE: At 9:14 p.m. on Renton-Issaquah Road Southeast near Southeast 82nd Street, an officer responded to a report of a man walking in the roadway. The officer contacted the man, who had just gotten off work and was walking home to Renton. He was given a ride to Renton city limits.

Nov. 1

PROWL: At 8:58 a.m. on the 4300 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast, athletic gear was reported stolen from an Acura MDX. The lost items and a broken window resulted in a reported $700 loss.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: At 1:42 p.m. on the 500 block of East Sunset Way, a driver reported her rear window was broken while she was stopped alongside the roadway.

Nov. 2

ABANDONED: At 11:35 a.m. at the Evergreen Ford car dealership on 18th Avenue Northwest, staff reported an unfamiliar car had been parked in their lot since the prior Wednesday. The car, registered in Shoreline, came up clear of theft- and other police records and there was no apparent number for the owner.

HOMEWARD BOUND: A citizen contacted an officer at the East Sunset Way police station to turn over a dog found near the train tracks on Front Street. The officer checked the phone number on the tag, which traced back to an address on Front Street North. The officer returned the dog to its family.

Nov. 3

THEFT: A $250 cellphone was reported stolen from the 6100 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast.

HOW DO YOU HAIL A BUS?: At 7:11 p.m. on the 1800 block of 15th Place Northwest, an officer contacted a woman who said a man had been knocking on her window and making strange gestures. During the conversation, she identified someone walking by as the man in question. He was catching a bus.

Nov. 4

RIVER OF…: At 12:52 p.m. on the 6100 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast, an officer observed a citizen’s RV leaking sewage. The owner agreed to clean up the mess.

REVENGE OF THE SPIT: A caller reported that, at some time before 1:06 p.m., he had been in a lane change dispute with another car on Southeast Issaquah-Fall City Road. He said the other car’s occupants spit on his vehicle and threw water at him. The plate number he provided an officer did not appear to match his vehicle description.

THEFT: At 3:10 p.m. on the 900 block of Northwest Gilman Boulevard, a wallet and its contents were reported stolen at a loss of $200.

CURSES, FOILED AGAIN: At 7:57 p.m. in the Issaquah Jail on East Sunset Way, a 26-year-old inmate was arrested for escape in the third degree.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: A $200 window was reported damaged on the 6200 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast.
