Three to compete for synchronized swimming title

Three girls from Sammamish and Issaquah are among 14 members of the Seattle Synchronized Swimming Team who are set to compete for a national title at the 2014 Age Group National Championships June 28 to July 5 in Federal Way.

 

Three girls from Sammamish and Issaquah are among 14 members of the Seattle Synchronized Swimming Team who are set to compete for a national title at the 2014 Age Group National Championships June 28 to July 5 in Federal Way.

The team qualified for the national championships by placing among the top three finishers at the 2014 Northwest Regional Championships. The meet features competitions in the 11-12, 13-15, 16-17 and 18-19 age group categories.

Meili Hobson (10) and Leeza Polyakova (11) of Sammamish, and Keana Hunter (10) of Issaquah will compete in the 11-12 age group.
