TONIGHT: First of two public input meetings on Confluence Park

A second public input meeting has been scheduled for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 14. Both meetings will be held at Tibbetts Creek Manor.

Tonight, Nov. 9, the city of Issaquah is scheduled to hold the first of two public input meetings on future work in Confluence Park.

The meeting will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Tibbetts Creek Manor, located at 750 17th Ave. N.W.

The purpose of the meeting is to collect ideas for improvements to Confluence, located on the corner of Rainier Boulevard North and Northwest Holly Street. Improvements are being funded by part of a $10 million park bond approved by Issaquah voters in 2013.

Confluence — formerly Cybil-Madeline Green, Margaret’s Meadow and Tolle Anderson Homestead — is already slated to receive soft surface trails and a pedestrian bridge across Issaquah Creek.

A second public input meeting has been scheduled for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 14, also at Tibbetts Creek Manor.
